Yes, you can now get married and tattooed at the same time! It's not as weird as you might think; many people and cultures throughout history have used tattooing to create or mark rites of passage, including marriage. Think of the popularity of people getting each other's names tattooed on them; no matter whether you feel that's a brilliant idea or a tragic mistake, it is an even more permanent commitment than marriage!

Commitment or wedding tattoos are not only limited to names. Consider getting matching or complementary symbolic tattoos, which can be more aesthetically satisfying and meaningful than getting someone's name as a tattoo. Some couples get each other's birth signs, or the same tattoo. Ancient Arts' artists can also tattoo wedding bands.

Lydia is ordained through the Universal Life Church ("We Are All Children of the Same Universe") and can marry people and tattoo them at the same time at Ancient Arts. Lydia no longer officiates at weddings that do not involve tattooing, nor does she tattoo elsewhere than at Ancient Arts. There is no additional fee for Lydia to officiate at your wedding/tattoo ritual. Please be advised, however, that your tattoo wedding will have to be very small and private, as there is not much room at the studio!
