Damien DeNolf is a native of the Eastern Woodlands whose interest in tattooing reaches as far back as he can remember. Throughout the 1980s and early 90s, he traveled extensively throughout the United States, selling handmade jewelry and leather crafts at tattoo conventions. It was at this time that he collected tattoos from some of the recognized masters of the craft responsible for the tattoo renaissance and began to learn the art of tattooing.

Damien began tattooing professionally in 1993 and has since established a nationwide reputation as a gifted artist among his clientele that includes police officers, firefighters, nurses, federal marshals, clergy, other tattoo artists, and adults of all ages and from all walks of life.

Damien tattoos in a variety of styles, and especially enjoys developing custom designs in cooperation with clients. He draws inspiration from the Gypsy, Celtic, and Native American cultures that form his heritage. His distinctive work also involves creating an environment, be it through music or ritual, that enhances the spiritual aspect of the tattooing itself. He has been a member of the National Tattoo Association for 20 years.

Damien has pursued sculpting since 2005, producing “fantasy fossils” that have been exhibited in both Northern and Southern California. He has also recently added "die-o-ramas" of post-apocalyptic landscapes and biomechanical assemblage to his repertoire of non-tattoo art styles.
